SALT LAKE CITY — Grab the tissues. A YouTube video of a woman announcing to her husband that she is pregnant after five years of infertility has gone viral and will hit you right in the feelers.
Doug Price and his wife Brenda created the video as part of a contest to win a trip to Aruba, where they went on their honeymoon 10 years earlier, according to the video. The couple struggled with infertility for five years and Brenda decided to surprise her husband with the news that she had finally gotten pregnant, “100 percent naturally,” the video said.
Brenda announces that she would love to take the trip as a “babymoon” and pulls out a positive pregnancy test. The video captures Doug’s astonishment that quickly turns to tears of joy.
“My wife says that she can never surprise me,” Doug said in the video description. “Well, she got me pretty good with this one. Unfortunately, we did not win the trip, but I still think we got the better end of the deal.”
Doug uploaded the video to YouTube on April 15 and it has since garnered more than 3.4 million views.
Their baby is due in November.
