ATLANTA (AP) — The Atlanta Falcons have signed undrafted free agent Sam Meredith, a defensive end from San Diego State.
Meredith, 6-foot-6 and 300 pounds, had 26 tackles and one sack as a senior.
The Falcons' addition of Meredith on Monday comes one day after they signed South Dakota offensive tackle Matt Huffer and Auburn defensive back Jonathon Mincy. The team waived defensive tackle Chris Brown from Tarleton State, cornerback Jordan Ozerities of Central Florida and wide receiver Joshua Stangby of Ottawa University.
The moves follow the team's rookie mini-camp on Friday and Saturday.
Huffer was a three-year starter at left tackle. Mincy started three years and had 211 career tackles at Auburn.
