(KSL News) A man is facing negligent homicide charges following a fatal crash on I-80.
The accident happened in the westbound lanes near mile post 79 around 8:30 Friday night.
A witness told troopers that an SUV appeared to be speeding and rear-ended a pickup truck. The SUV veered off the interstate and ended up facing eastbound in the center median.
The pickup rolled, killing one passenger and injuring the driver and another passenger.
The driver of the SUV, 22-year-old Adam Edson of Farmington, was not injured. He was arrested and booked into the Tooele County Jail. He faces charges of negligent homicide.
