(KSL News) A mother of three fulfilled her life-long dream today. She graduated from medical school.
Becky Kroll was one of 264 students who received their degree from the University of Utah.
She said the key to her success was being able to balance her life as a student with her life as a mother.
"Live a balanced life," she said. "You have to put a lot of time in. That is important, but it's also important to be balanced."
Kroll's son, Nicholas, is a first-year medical student, also at the U. He watched proudly from the crowd.
"[I'm] just really proud. It's been a lot of years of hard work," he said.
Becky Kroll's next step is working as a family doctor at a clinic in California.
