COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — The University of South Carolina is hosting a workshop for financially-challenged students who need help filling out federal aid applications.
The workshop is slated for Saturday and opens at 9 a.m. at the Richland County Library in Columbia. It is free and open to the public.
The event is designed to provide scholarship and financial-aid information for those who need to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form. The application is necessary to apply for assistance and is good for any college across the country.
