SALT LAKE CITY — A man was arrested Friday after he allegedly robbed Wells Fargo Bank Friday morning.
Joseph Madrigal, 31, entered the bank at 79 South Main Street at 9:11 a.m. and demanded money from the teller, according to Dennis McGowan with the Salt Lake City Police Department.
He then fled through the west doors on Main Street and headed north, McGowan said.
Investigators with the Salt Lake City Police Department apprehended Madrigal a couple of blocks away from the bank. He was booked into the Salt Lake County Metro Jail on suspicion of aggravated robbery and possession of drug paraphernalia, McGowan said.
No one was injured during the robbery, McGowan said.
