ASHBURN, Va. (AP) — The son of a former Hog is joining the Washington Redskins' coaching staff.
The team announced Thursday that Chad Grimm has been hired as a defensive quality control coach.
Grimm's father is Russ Grimm, the Hall of Fame guard who helped the Redskins win three Super Bowls as a member of the famed "Hogs" offensive line.
Chad Grimm played at Virginia Tech and spent the last six seasons as a quality control coach with the San Diego Chargers and Arizona Cardinals.
