LONDON, Jun 26, 2006 (UPI via COMTEX) -- Just as Britain's Princess Diana was a fashion icon, apparently so goes Camilla, Prince Charles' second wife.
The Telegraph reports fashionistas attended a charity gala Monday unveiling what has been dubbed "Camilla chic" to benefit the Great Ormond Street Hospital and the Reach Leukemia Appeal. The show was set for the Raphael Gallery.
The collection was put together by design partners Antonia Robinson and Anna Valentine. It features a palette of black, pewter, gold, cream and forest green, and includes tailored cashmere tweeds and knitted jackets as well as coats with a ruff at the neckline or Mongolian lamb collars. Evening wear includes lantern-shaped dresses in silk georgette, cocktail dresses gilded with ribbon and straight chemises with Guipure lace.
"The new collection is all bout luxury and opulence, even for day," Valentine told the Telegraph.
