GREELEY, Colo. (AP) — Josh Ritchart came off the bench to score 20 points and Corey Hawkins added 18 to lead UC Davis to a 73-63 win over Northern Colorado on Monday.
Tyler Les and Josh Fox scored 11 points apiece for the Aggies (9-1), who shot 51 percent from the field to match the best start in school history. Ritchart and Hawkins both had seven rebounds as Davis outrebounded the Bears 41-31.
Northern Colorado (5-6) was led by Jordan Wilson with 15 points. Tevin Svihovec had 14 as the Bears shot 38 percent.
Davis had a quick 10-point lead but the Bears clawed back to trail 30-29 at the half. Cameron Michael hit a 3-pointer to tie the game at 32 in the first minute of the second half and Dominique Lee had a layup at 17:14 for UNC's only lead, which lasted 30 seconds.
