(KSL News) The highway through Daniel's Canyon near Heber is partially open tonight following an afternoon oil spill.

A Flying J tanker carrying crude oil clipped the guardrail on US Highway 40 earlier today, burst open and spilled about 4,000 gallons. Crews closed part of the highway for most of the day to clean up the mess.
About 9:00 tonight, crews re-opened one lane in each direction.
