WASHINGTON (AP) — Michelle Obama has joined forces with the "Penguins of Madagascar."
In a new video, the first lady sends the computer-animated stars of the upcoming DreamWorks movie on a top-secret mission to help promote people she says inspire her daily. They are U.S. troops, military veterans and their families.
Mrs. Obama did the video for an organization called "Got Your 6" that's working to dispel misconceptions about veterans.
"Got your six" is military lingo for "I have your back."
In 2011, the first lady helped launch a nationwide effort called "Joining Forces" to rally the public to support service members, veterans and their families.
Mrs. Obama did the video for the "Joining Forces" campaign and in observance of Veterans Day next Tuesday.
"Penguins of Madagascar" opens in theaters Nov. 26.
