MUSTACHE MOVEMBER — It's Movember.

For those of you unfamiliar with the term, Movember is the phenomenon of men putting away their razors for the month of November as they grow out epic mustaches. What started off as a trivial fun exercise has turned into a legitimate men's health initiative, which men can raise money for their mustaches and have the proceeds go to funding men's health awareness and research.

Find information about the Movember foundation online.

Without further ado, here are six memorable mustaches from TV and film.

Peter Sellers, The Pink Panther series

In the Pink Panther series, Peter Sellers plays Inspector Jacques Clouseau. While Clouseau is a complete klutz, Sellers’ moustache is a thing of beauty.

Jason Lee, 'My Name is Earl'

In “My Name is Earl,” Jason Lee plays a man who wins a lucrative settlement after an accident he was involved in and decides to use the money to try to fix transgressions he committed. While the show humorously highlights his attempts to fix his wrongs, there’s nothing wrong with Lee’s glorious ‘stache.

Tom Selleck, 'Magnum P.I.'

In the 1980s, Tom Selleck was the king of cool with his hit TV show, “Magnum P.I.” Selleck’s rugged charm in the show was characterized by the impressive hair above his lip.

Nick Offerman, 'Parks & Recreation'

In “Parks & Recreation,” Nick Offerman’s character, Ron Swanson, is brimming with testosterone. As such, it is only fitting that Swanson has one of the thickest mustaches around.

Charlie Chaplin

Throughout his many films, Charlie Chaplin wore a moustache that would receive infamy when worn by Adolf Hitler. Chaplin used this fact to his advantage in his film, “The Great Dictator.”

Clark Gable, 'Gone with the Wind'

In “Gone with the Wind,” Clark Gable wears the ever classic pencil moustache. The film is still widely recognized as one of the top grossing (factoring in inflation) movies of all time, so his moustache may be the most famous of this group.
