The officer chased Cantu to a Smith's on 4100 S. Redwood Road. Cantu got out and tried to run. Two security guards chased Cantu until he slipped. The security guards jumped on him and held him until police arrested him. Cantu had two guns, ammunition and drugs.
His passenger -- who has outstanding warrants -- tried to run, but officers caught him.
Cantu's wife and a five-year-old girl were with him, but they were released.
