CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were higher Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for Dec delivery rose 1.25 cents to $4.79 a bushel; Dec corn was .50 cents higher at 3.2125 a bushel; Dec oats gained 3.25 cents to $3.3875 a bushel; while Nov soybeans advanced 3.50 cents to $9.1675 a bushel.
Beef and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Dec live cattle rose 2.43 cents to $1.6590 a pound; Oct feeder cattle was 3 cents higher at $2.3842 a pound; while Dec lean hogs were .35 cent higher to $.9487 a pound.
