SANTA ANA PUEBLO, N.M. (AP) — The 2013-14 NMPA APME Better Newspaper Contest awards were handed out during the 106th annual NMPA convention at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort and Spa on Saturday. Judging was completed by the Texas Press Association.

The contest is sponsored jointly by the New Mexico Press Association and the New Mexico Associated Press Managing Editors.

The New Mexico APME Member of the Year, which is given for outstanding cooperation, went to the Roswell Daily Record.
