LAS VEGAS (AP) — Another arrest warrant has been issued for the troubled 34-year-old son of rancher Cliven Bundy. Records show that Cliven Lance Bundy failed to appear Tuesday before a state court judge overseeing a Las Vegas drug diversion program. Lance Bundy is facing two to eight years in state prison if he's found in violation of his parole on 2013 burglary and weapon theft convictions.
LAS VEGAS (AP) — Casino giant MGM Resorts International says the M'Life name obtained by a Las Vegas marijuana dispensary is too close to the resort's own M life customer loyalty program. The casino company filed a lawsuit in federal court last week. Marijuana dispensary owner Daniel Lutz says they can work out an agreement.
ELKO, Nev. (AP) — Elko County sheriff's deputies are investigating the killing of five cows and shooting of more than a dozen others in the mountains northwest of Elko. Undersheriff Clair Morris told the Elko Daily Free Press that ranch hands discovered 22 cows with gunshot wounds late Monday afternoon near Swales Mountain.
LAS VEGAS (AP) — Passenger traffic at McCarran International Airport increased 3.4 percent in August compared with a year earlier. More than 3.7 million people arrived and departed from the Las Vegas airport in August. The number of passengers flying domestically was up 1.7 percent, while international traffic was up 12 percent for the month.
