SALT LAKE CITY — For those who grew up loving the “Mighty Ducks” trilogy like I did, take a moment to rejoice. The cast of the beloved ‘90s films reunited Sunday to celebrate the second installment's 20th anniversary and pictures of the occasion were posted online.
The “Mighty Ducks” was released in 1992 by Walt Disney and the successful movie was quickly followed with a sequel, “D2: The Mighty Ducks” in 1994. Marguerite Moreau, who played Connie in the movies, documented the informal reunion and posted photos of the event on her Instagram.
Among those in attendance were Mike Vitar, who played Luis Mendoza, Garette Ratliff Henson, who played Guy Germaine, Shaun Weiss, who played Greg Goldberg, Vincent Larusso who played Adam Banks, Aaron Lohr, who played Dean Portman, and Scott Whyte, who played Iceland captain Gunnar Stahl.
Moreau posed for a photo with Henson who played her love interest in the series. The entire group also posed for a photo in the famous Flying V formation.
Joshua Jackson, who played team captain Charlie Conway, and Emilio Estevez, who played Coach Gordon Bombay, were not in attendance for the reunion. However, Jackson recently told Time Magazine that he thought a fourth film should happen. Maybe we will have a chance of once again reliving the familiar rally, “Quack. Quack. Quack.”
Photographed in a group hug at the reunion were Mike Vitar (Luis Mendoza), Garette Ratliff Henson (Guy Germaine), Marguerite Moreau (Connie), Vincent Larusso (Adam Banks), Aaron Lohr (Dean Portman) and Scott Whyte (Gunnar Stahl.)
