(KSL News) A man was flown to the hospital overnight after his car rolled on Interstate 80.
The Utah Highway Patrol says the car drifted off the freeway about three miles east of Saltaire. The driver was ejected as the vehicle spun sideways and rolled several times.
When emergency crews arrived, they found the man pinned under the vehicle but still conscious and talking. He was flown to the hospital in critical condition.
Officials say there was no indication that drugs or alcohol were involved, though they say they found a small amount of marijuana in the car.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation. Officers suspect the driver fell asleep.
