SALT LAKE CITY — The BYU Cougars got its first home win of the season Thursday night, beating the Houston Cougars 33-25.

The game seemed out of reach for the red Cougars early on, but after some penalties and turnovers by BYU, Houston battled back to make it a one possession game. At this point in the game, Utah wide receiver Kenneth Scott started live tweeting the game.

While many would expect the rivalry banter to emerge — maybe discredit BYU — Scott was respectful and just a regular fan of college football.

Put @RossApo1 in and throw the fade up to him in the red zone — Kenneth Goobie Scott (@Kscott_2) September 12, 2014

It should be mandatory when you get in the red zone you throw the fade route to your receiver and have him go up and get it — Kenneth Goobie Scott (@Kscott_2) September 12, 2014

Scott was frustrated, though, that BYU was not utilizing Jordan Leslie more late in the game.

I'm hating watching the BYU game right now, like how you not play someone who is probably the most talented receiver on your roster smh — Kenneth Goobie Scott (@Kscott_2) September 12, 2014

Utah fans took notice and were confused by Scott’s tweets about the “kittens.”

Did someone hack into @Kscott_2 account? Bruh's rooting for the kittens! #notgoodforbuisness 😒 — jim steadman (@jimsteadman7) September 12, 2014

Just rootin for the homies RT @jimsteadman7: Did someone hack into @Kscott_2 account? Bruh's rooting for the kittens! #notgoodforbuisness 😒 — Kenneth Goobie Scott (@Kscott_2) September 12, 2014

Others, though, were loving the tweets from the receiver.

I see @Kscott_2 practicing his post NFL career with all this college analyzing he on tonight. Lol — Prov 16:3 (@ChongDynasty) September 12, 2014

Scott did have to look out for his fellow receivers.

If I was BYU receiver I'll talk to Taysom on the sideline like "Look bruh, I know you like runnin but I ain't runnin for my health" ahaha — Kenneth Goobie Scott (@Kscott_2) September 12, 2014

That receiver for Houston has gotten thrown to 18 times??? 18??? In ONE game!!?? Sheesh.... A receivers dream lol — Kenneth Goobie Scott (@Kscott_2) September 12, 2014

Scott even gave credit to quarterback Taysom Hill.

I ain't gon lie tho, ima give credit when credit is due... Taysom Hill is a beast, he like what Tim Tebow was at Florida. No Hill, No BYU... — Kenneth Goobie Scott (@Kscott_2) September 12, 2014

But don’t worry Utah fans, Scott said Travis Wilson is still his guy.

No question! W/o a doubt! Take Trav all day everyday even on Sundays wen everything is closed RT @pmarti9: @Kscott_2 I'd still take Travis:) — Kenneth Goobie Scott (@Kscott_2) September 12, 2014
