Sandra Yi reporting Police in Salt Lake City are asking for help finding an armed robbery suspect.
There is a felony arrest warrant for Jose Leon Johnson. He's wanted for aggravated robbery and aggravated burglary.
Police say last Tuesday, Johnson and two other men approached the victim. The victim was sitting on the front porch of his home in the Rose Park neighborhood. The victim told police he recognized two of the men as acquaintances.
Johnson pulled a handgun and forced the victim inside his house. Johnson then demanded money and took some of the victim's property, including a gun.
He threatened the victim before he left.
Det. Robin Snyder, Salt Lake City Police Dept.: "The victim is very scared for his safety. The male threatened him when he left and said don't call he police. If you do, I'll come back and kill you and your family. That's why it's particularly important to get him off the street."
Johnson, who is also known as "Savy D" is 26 years old. He's 5-11, 200 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Police say, he usually wears his hair in ponytail or braid. Johnson also has numerous tatoos, including an English style letter "D" next to his right eye.
He was last seen driving a green, 2001, Chevy Suburban with Utah license plate: 891 VRV.
