(KSL News) -- More developments in the case of a Utah company that went bankrupt leaving students scrambling to save a trip to New York City.
About 80 people from Riverton and West Jordan High Schools and Albion Middle school paid Learning on Location more than $150,000 dollars for food, shows, sightseeing and hotels. They were left with only airline tickets for some people and tickets to five of the eight Broadway shows they'd hoped to see.
Now we've learned middle school students in Oregon are also trying to save their New York City trip after paying about 35,000 dollars.
They had impromptu car washes this weekend but they still have around 13,000 left to go in the next seven days.
The Salt Lake City schools will meet tomorrow to decide whether they will go.
