OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) — Texas third baseman Kevin Kouzmanoff left the Rangers' game against the Oakland Athletics with back tightness.

The reigning AL Player of the Week was involved in both of the Rangers' first two scoring rallies Tuesday night. He walked to load the bases in the first inning and hit into a double play in the third, allowing the go-ahead run to score.

He left the game after the Rangers batted in the fourth. Luis Sardinas took over at third and committed a fielding error on his first chance, leading to a run.
