Ashley Hayes and Marc Giauque ReportingMaybe it's like Friday the 13th on steroids. Today it's 6-6-6 the first time in a century that the calendar dates have lined up to make what some say is a demonic combination. But for most people, religious and non-religious, they're not planning on any life altering events.

20th Century Fox is seizing the promotional opportunity to release the company's remake of the horror film "The Omen."

A horror novel for some, right-wing columnist Ann Coutler's new book comes out today titled, "Godless."

If you're looking for a party, it's heating up in Hell, Michigan. The mayor there is hoping to attract tourists for the big day.

The town bought 666 t-shirts and mugs with the logo, "You've celebrated June 6, 2006 in Hell."

At a Sugarhouse shop called Spellbound, you can buy a dagger, a Ouija board, herbs and numerous symbols of witchcraft. But you won't find anything with a dreaded triple six. That's because store clerk Steve Turner says Pagans don't believe.

Steve Turner: "The whole Christian concept of a God of evil that tries to force people to do evil and so forth is ailen to our concepts."

Indeed it comes from the Bible where a passage in Revelations speaks of the number six hundred sixty six as the mark of the beast.

Pretty ominous stuff, right? So why is Kelly Badger choosing this day to be married?

Kelly Badger: "I am hoping this is a anniversary date that I can remember."

Typical guy answer, but he is aware of the significance of 6-6 of '06.

Kelly Badger: "Hopefully I won't end up with Rosemary's baby."

Maybe, but so are a lot of other couples. Salt Lake County Clerk Sherri Swenson says the small room on the second floor of the county complex will be very busy today; eleven marriage ceremonies.

Sherri Swenson "For Tuesday actually, it is a large booking."

Swenson has seen this before.

Sherri Swenson: "Every time there is an even number, like 5-5-05 they have gone back, and historically on that day, it has been totally booked."

But in all seriousness, is there anything to fear in 6-6-6? Religious scholars say no.

Rev. Michael Loyd, St. Andrews Church: "The sixth of June has no particular significance. Partly, remember that the date is 6-06-2006, not 6-6-6. So it has nothing to do with the book of Revelation."

For April Eastwood, who manages the Cell Block club, it's a reason for a theme party.

April Eastwood "Because it is so rare and it hardly ever happens, it's something to remember."

While theologians say there's nothing to substantiate any apocalyptic claims today, we've heard reports of mothers rescheduling c-sections and authorities on higher alert for pranks.

For some though, there is nothing fun or funny about today. Some are even predicting the end of the world. So the fact that you're still reading this is a good sign.
