PERTH, Australia (AP) — If weather conditions permit, a robotic submarine will resume its search on the Indian Ocean floor for the wreckage of a missing Malaysia Airlines plane and its two black boxes. On Monday, the sub returned to the surface just six hours into its 16-hour mission. The Bluefin 21 has a built-in safety feature that won't let it exceed its maximum depth of 15,000 feet.
KABUL, Afghanistan (AP) — Afghan officials say the country's deputy public works minister has been kidnapped in the capital, Kabul. CINCINNATI (AP) — A federal judge who ordered Ohio to recognize out-of-state gay marriages says he's likely to issue a stay of his decision pending appeal. Judge Timothy Black is giving attorneys on both sides of the case until Tuesday afternoon to file their arguments over whether he should issue a stay. Black says an exception to the stay would be the four gay couples who filed the February lawsuit that led to the court case. The judge's ruling would not allow gay marriages to be performed in Ohio.
