(KSL News) A 15-year-old girl who was skiing yesterday died after crashing into a tree. It happened at Beaver Mountain near Logan.
Officials say the girl was skiing an intermediate run called "D Street" when she lost control and crashed. She was wearing a helmet at the time, but she was unable to survive the force of the impact.
This is the first fatality at Beaver Mountain since 1961.
