Wacom Announces Presentation Schedule for GDC 2014
VANCOUVER, Wash., March 18, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Wacom@'s in-booth
presentation area (Booth #1916) at the upcoming GDC show in San
Francisco, California, March 19 - 21, will be "the place" for
attendees to gather and learn about digital content creation from
leading game development designers and artists. The select group of
artists will demonstrate their drawing skills using a Wacom Cintiq@
interactive pen display and accompanying creative software
applications. Wacom's GDC presentation schedule is as follows:
Wednesday, March 19
-- 10AM - Renée Busse from Autodesk will demonstrate Sketchbook Pro
and how to paint digitally.
-- 11AM - Virginia Critchfield of Riot Games will show her concept art
skills and talk about Riot's League of Legends game.
-- 12PM - Marcel DeJong of Autodesk will present the art of digital
sculpting using Maya and Mudbox software.
-- 1PM - Chris Sulzbach from Firaxis Games will show how he creates
the alien character, Nariat.
-- 2PM - Josh Singh from Riot Games will talk about and demonstrate
character design for League of Legends.
-- 4PM - Oliver Chipping, character designer for Riot Games, will
highlight the design process for League of Legends.
-- 5PM - Trent Kanluga of Twilight Monk will take the audience on a
Photoshop adventure.
Thursday, March 20
-- 10AM - Gary Davis will demonstrate painting with polygons and
pixels with Autodesk 3ds Max and Mudbox.
-- 11AM - Marcel DeJong will showcase Autodesk's Sketchbook Pro.
-- 12PM - Shaddy Safadi of One Pixel Brush will offer tips and
techniques for concept drawing.
-- 2PM - Josh Singh from Riot Games will talk about and demonstrate
character design for League of Legends.
-- 4PM - Justin Goby Fields will present 3D concepting for film.
-- 5PM - Jack Greasley of The Foundry will show 3D painting using Mari
2.6.
Friday, March 21
-- 10AM - Marcel DeJong of Autodesk will present the art of digital
