If you're a buyer, you could have saved about 80-thousand dollars had you purchased a home last year instead of this year. Housing prices are soaring, increasing more than 38-percent over the same quarter last year.
That has what used to be little old St. George outpacing places like Coral Gables Florida, Phoenix Arizona, and Bend Oregon.
Some analysts aren't sure the trend will continue, but others say there's no sign of change. They say applications for building lots just about doubled in the last year.
