4 p.m. — The Senate convenes and begins a period of morning business until 5 p.m., when the Senate will proceed to Executive Session to consider the nomination of Carolyn McHugh to be U.S. Circuit Court Judge for the 10th Circuit, with a cloture vote on the nomination expected at 5:30 p.m. Following the vote on the McHugh nomination, the Senate will conduct a roll call vote on S. 1917, the Victims Protection Act. Immediately following votes on the evening of Monday, March 10 until approximately 9 a.m. Tuesday, March 11, Senators from the Senate Climate Action Task Force will be holding the Senate floor to urge action on climate change.
