LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) — Nathan Sobey scored a career-high 33 points in his final home game to lead Wyoming to an 83-75 victory over Colorado State on Saturday.
Josh Adams had 22 points and a career-high eight rebounds while Derek Cooke Jr. added 14 points for Wyoming (18-13, 9-9 Mountain West). The win ended a four-game slide for the Cowboys.
J.J. Avila scored 21 points, while Daniel Bejarano added 15 and Joe De Ciman 13 for Colorado State (16-15, 7-11).
Bejarano's 3 cut Wyoming's lead to 62-60 with 6:04 to play, but after each team made two free throws, Sobey converted a 3-point play and Adams threw down a dunk on a fast break. The Cowboys were back up by seven with 4:21 left and held on for the win.
