ASHWAUBENON, Wis. (AP) — Miles Dixon scored 20 points to lead No. 3 seed Wright State over sixth-seeded Oakland 73-57 in the quarterfinals of the Horizon League tournament on Friday night.
Wright State (19-13) has won five-straight games and will face Cleveland State (21-10) in the semifinals on Saturday.
Dixon was 6 of 10 from the field, including two 3-pointers, and made 6 of 7 free-throw attempts. Matt Vest chipped in 11 points. Dixon and Vest each dished out four assists for the Raiders.
Travis Bader scored 20 points on 5-of-13 shooting and Dante Williams added 13 points to lead Oakland (13-20). Bader, who came into the game ranked second all-time in the Horizon League with 144 3-pointers, was 3 of 8 from beyond the arc. Kahlil Felder added seven points and eight assists for the Golden Grizzlies.
