NACOGDOCHES, Texas (AP) — Thomas Walkup scored 16 points and Deshaunt Walker added 12 as Stephen F. Austin won its 32nd-straight home game with an 83-72 victory over Oral Roberts on Thursday night.
Stephen F. Austin (28-2, 17-0 Southland) is tied with Duke for the nation's longest home winning streak. The Lumberjacks have a 25-game winning streak, and end its regular season hosting Central Arkansas (8-20, 5-12) on Saturday.
Brandon Conley scored to pull Oral Roberts within three points, 54-51 with 14:31 remaining. SFA answered with a 13-2 run to take a 67-53 lead with 9:37 left and the Lumberjacks led by double digits the rest of the way.
Walkup was 4 of 5 from the field and 6 of 7 from the line. Walker made 4 of 9 field goals, including three 3-pointers. Desmond Haymon added 10 points with five assists.
Shawn Glover scored 16 points to lead Oral Roberts (16-14, 10-7).
