KISSIMMEE, Fla. (AP) — Jarred Cosart pitched two hitless innings and Carlos Corporan drove in two runs that led the Houston Astros past an Atlanta Braves split squad 7-4 Sunday.

Cosart struck out one and walked one. The 23-year-old righty made his major league debut last year, going 1-1 with a 1.95 ERA in 10 starts for a team that led the majors with 111 losses.

Jordan Schafer got two more hits for the Braves, raising his spring average to .455. He stole 22 bases in 94 games for the Braves last season and is competing for one of the final outfield spots.
