(KSL News) -- Thousands of sportsmen will be converging on Salt Lake City for the first ever Western Hunting and Conservation Expo.
Governor John Huntsman announced plans for the event today.
It will take place in January at the Salt Palace and is sponored by the Foundation for North American Wild Sheep, the Mule Deer Foundation and Sportsmen for Habitat.
Close to 40-thousand people are expected to attend.
