(KSL News/AP) A young boy was killed and three other people were hospitalized when their northbound sedan rolled on a snowy stretch of freeway in central Utah early Sunday morning.

It happened on I-15 near the Beaver and Iron county line.

The driver told officials he was going about 60 miles per hour when his car slid out of control and left the pavement. He and two other adults were injured. A 4-year-old boy from Las Vegas died in the crash. Troopers say the boy was not wearing a seatbelt.

The Salt Lake Tribune reports the boy's name is Edwin H. Himanez, and also injured in the rollover was the driver, Carlos Adolfovalle, 27, as well as passengers Jose Mantabalo, 39, and Cinthia Himanez, 20, all of Las Vegas.
