LONG BEACH, Calif. (AP) - Natasha Howard scored 20 points and had eight rebounds to lead No. 24 Florida State to a 73-66 win over Pacific in the Long Beach Classic on Friday night.

Morgan Jones and Yashira Delgado contributed 11 points apiece for Florida State (10-1), which had hold off Pacific late in the second half by hitting 6 of 8 from the foul line in the closing minutes to preserve the win.

Pacific (4-5) trailed the entire game but kept the score close, narrowing the gap to four points on a 3-pointer by Madison Parrish to make it 67-63 with 1:37 left. But the Tigers couldn't overtake Florida State down the stretch.

Florida State went 23 of 59 from the field and was just 1 of 11 from 3-point range.
