Bosses at New York museum Madame Tussauds have launched a new campaign aimed at prompting BRITNEY SPEARS to dump her husband and return to her former glories - using their six-year-old waxwork likeness of the pop star.

Museum chiefs have remodelled the Britney figure, complete with a heaving chest, to launch their Bring Back Britney campaign.

And they're going one step further, asking patrons to "Save Britney from herself, from her husband and from her relentless fertility."

In a press release, the cheeky Tussauds marketing executives insist their campaign is geared towards pregnant Spears giving up on her family and returning to "the good ole days when she was a pin-up, not knocked-up."

As well as heaving breasts, the Britney Spears of 2000 wax figure comes scantily clad in a sparkly gold two-piece and is attached, upside down, to a stripper pole.

Fans visiting Madame Tussauds will also be invited to sign and online petition to Save Britney. (KL/PR/SH)
