(KSL News) A lawsuit brought by the family of a Saratoga Springs woman killed in a gas explosion is settled.
A lawyer for Greg Roper tells the Provo Herald his client reached a confidential seven-figure settlement with Questar Gas and several contractors.
Roper's wife April died in the February 2007 blast.
It happened after she and a Questar employee went into her basement to check a possible gas leak.
Lawyers for Roper say April never should have been allowed to go into the house until the situation was deemed safe.
