AVENGERVILLE — It seems the world is in love with anything Marvel these days which would explain why people are so excited about "Thor 2." Well, Marvel has decided to make you even more anxious. Here is the first official trailer for "Captain America: The Winter Soldier."
The sequel to the highly successful 2011 "Captain America: The First Avenger" seems to be more action oriented than it's predecessor according to the trailer. To give you an idea, the first film was pretty action oriented.
In what now seems to be the norm since the release of "The Avengers," the Winter Soldier seems to be darker than the first film. For example, the initial trailer for "Iron Man 3" gave a much darker tone than the previous films, but it actually ended up having more jokes than "Iron Man" and "Iron Man 2."
In addition, "Thor 2: The Dark World" looks darker than the first installment, but who knows if it will be.
The first trailer for "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" looks to have a better story than the first film and Steve Rogers appears to be a bit more conflicted than we've seen him in the previous films.
With all that said, however, the trailer is just under two and a half minutes and doesn't give away too much about the overall film.
"Captain America: The Winter Soldier" is due in theaters April of 2014.
