COMEDY HEAVEN — Rumors have been floating around for years that Harry Dunne and Lloyd Christmas would team up again in a "Dumb and Dumber" sequel.
No! "Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd" does not count.
Fans started to get excited when "Dumb and Dumber" creators, the Farrelly brothers, announced that the sequel was moving forward, but we had been teased like that before. So, we looked forward with cautious optimism. Then we heard that both Jeff Daniels and Jim Carrey were on board, but still we kept our emotions at bay.
Then we recently got a picture of Carrey's chipped tooth, but just that tidbit didn't melt away all of our fears, but it helped.
Well, you can now celebrate and embrace the future; we now have an official look at Harry and Lloyd 20 years later.
Carrey and Daniels tweeted photos of the pair as the dimwitted buffoons from their Twitter accounts.
"We're back!" Daniels tweeted from his personal account with the picture.
"Dumb and Dumber To" is scheduled to hit theaters sometime in 2014.
