ATLANTA (AP) -- Some flight attendants at Delta Air Lines are seeking to join a union. It comes while the carrier considers combining with Northwest Airlines or United Airlines.
Salt Lake City is a major Delta hub.
The Association of Flight Attendants-CWA says Delta attendants will file cards on Thursday seeking a union election. The union says a majority of Delta's 12,000 active attendants have signed.
A similar effort in late 2001 or early 2002 failed.
