MOVIE LAND — This week saw the release of several high profile trailers and it's now time you got a look at all of them.
Some of the trailers come from big blockbuster sequels and others from serious award contenders and one from "Ender's Game."
Without further delay here are the five trailers you need to see this week.
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire international trailer
#poll
We've seen a few trailers for the anticipated sequel to The Hunger Games, but this latest international trailer is probably the best yet.
For those who have read the books we get to see a lot of the big moments we've been waiting to see on the big screen, and for those who haven't it should get you more excited to get more of the story.
"The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" is set to be released on November 22.
Ender's Game trailer #2
Fans of the popular book "Ender's Game" have been waiting years for a film adaptation of the novel and their patience is finally being rewarded.
This is the second trailer for the highly anticipated film and the action and spectacle are heightened from the first.
I'm still not sold of the big-screen adaptation, but the trailer gets your blood running.
"Ender's Game" is due in theaters November 1.
Thor: The Dark World trailer #2
Whether you buy into the Marvel movies or not, you're still going to get knocked over the head with them until you pass out from exhaustion.
The second trailer for "Thor: The Dark World" has landed and it gives us a better look at the story, Asgard and Natalie Portman.
This trailer gives the appearance that this new film will give us more story than the last Thor and even more action.
"Thor: The Dark World" is due in theaters November 8.
The Monuments Men premier trailer
Odds are you've never heard of this film, but with the cast and the story line it's probably going to make a major push for the Academy Awards.
"The Monuments Men" stars George Clooney, Matt Damon, Bill Murray, John Goodman and Cate Blanchett, among others.
Clooney directed the film about an actual crew of art historians and museum curators who were commissioned to recover renowned works of art stolen by Nazis during WWII before Hitler could destroy them.
It's still not a guarantee this movie is going to be great, but with that cast the odds are good.
"The Monuments Men" is due in theaters December 18.
Captain Phillips trailer #2
Not many people saw the first trailer for "Captain Phillips" when it came out about a month ago, but that's OK, because this one's even better.
The film stars Tom Hanks and it recounts the story of Captain Richard Phillips who was held hostage after his ship, the MV Maersk Alabama, was hijacked by Somali pirates in 2009.
We all know how the movie will end, but it doesn't change the fact that the film will likely be tense and emotional from start to finish.
"Captain Phillips" will hit theaters on October 11.
