Randall Jeppesen reporting Orem,Utah (KSL Newsradio) -- An Orem man could deserve the nickname "the drunk Spider-man" after he was arrested by police.
While most shoppers were busy looking for clothing deals inside the Savers store in Orem Saturday afternoon, one shopper made his way to the back storage room and, for whatever reason, decided to climb the wall.
During his climb, Joshua Mathie started breaking halogen lights, and that's when Orem police were called. "They had some trouble getting the man off of the wall. He didn't want to come down. They finally did get him down. He was drunk," explained Orem Police Lt. Doug Edwards.
Edwards says they literally had to pull him off the wall.
Mathie then kicked an officer in the face while he was getting medical attention.
Mathie was cleared to go to jail and was booked into the Utah County Jail for intoxication, disorderly conduct, assault on an officer and criminal mischief.
