SALT LAKE CITY — Prices are soaring, homes are selling faster and buyers are receiving multiple offers.
New numbers released from the Utah Association of Realtors paints a bright picture for Utahns thinking of selling. A lot has changed in just one year. The amount of homes sold in April is up 12 percent from the same time last year.
Matching the rise in sales, home prices also moved higher, growing 12.4 percent.
The hottest price range for homes right now are in the $150,000 to $200,000 range. The latest numbers reveal the inventory for homes at this price would be depleted in 4.1 months if no new homes were listed.
