(KSL News) If you're late at Provo High School, you're locked out, and some parents think that's wrong.
Several parents have complained about the tardiness policy, prompting the school board to consider changing it.
Teachers say the system keeps student tardiness in check. But some parents say locking a teen in a hallway until the next class goes too far.
Parents can excuse absences by calling or writing a note.
The board is looking at new options, including allowing extra excused absences for students with high GPA's.
