WEST JORDAN — Jousting: They call it the world's oldest extreme sport. Saturday, riders and their horses had the chance to test their skills in an unusual way.

The Royal Carousel Friesians held day two of "The Edge of Magic," a light armor jousting and skill games clinic Saturday. Riders clad in period-style clothing learned about mounted medieval games like jousting, running of the rings, spear throw, and knife throwing.

Patrick Lambke, an International Full Contact Jousting Multi Champion, taught at the clinic. He has been competing for nearly 25 years, appearing in films like "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" and the "The Cable Guy," as well as on the History Channel.
