(KSL News) A friend of accused murderer Timmy Brent Olsen says he provided a fake alibi to protect Olsen from police.
Scott Brunson testified at a preliminary hearing yesterday. He said at first he refused to lie when Olsen asked him to say they were together on the day Kiplyn Davis disappeared 12 years ago. He eventually agreed to lie as the police investigation went on.
Brunson testified against Olsen as part of a plea deal on counts of perjury for lying to a federal grand jury about his knowledge of Kiplyn's disappearance.
