BRIGHAM CITY — A woman is dead and three children injured after an auto-pedestrian accident in Brigham City on Thursday afternoon.

A car was turning westbound on 700 South off of Main Street when it was hit by a second car and forced onto the sidewalk. The car hit three young children, two girls ages 7 and 4 and a 2-year-old boy; and their grandmother.

The three children were taken to the hospital in stable condition. The grandmother died at the hospital.

The driver of the car that hit the children, an 87-year-old woman, is in stable condition. Age is not believed to have been a factor in the crash.
