ST. GEORGE — A 25-year-old woman was critically injured after her car rolled outside of St. George on Sunday afternoon.

The woman was traveling south on I-15 about 4:30 p.m. when she drifted off the road and allegedly over-corrected, causing her to roll. The woman, from the St. George area whose name was not immediately available Sunday, was not wearing a seat-belt and was ejected from the vehicle, according to a statement from the Utah Highway Patrol.

"She was listed in critical condition with a possibility that she may be paralyzed," the UHP said in a prepared statement.

Investigators say there was no evidence of alcohol being a factor. The freeway was shutdown for about 45 minutes as emergency crews, including a medical helicopter, responded to the scene.
