SALT LAKE CITY — I've been reviewing DVD's for KSL since 2011 and if you are wondering what is up with my rating system, here's Dave's rating system in a nutshell.

There's a million star systems and there's even a fresh and rotten vegetable system. However, by the time it reaches DVD, Blu Ray or Digital copy, the question I want answered is how much money can I spend and still look at myself in the mirror?

There's a lot of movies out there that are incredible four-star movies, but they may not have a high "rewatchability" factor. So, I try to balance the quality of the movie with how many times that you are going to want to throw this up on your big screen.

I have four basic ratings:

Buy It

This is a pretty easy one. As soon as it is released, open the wallet and shell out the clams.

Netflix It

This is a movie that you may want to keep for a a few days or weeks. You'll probably want to watch it a few times, but you don't want to spend the big bucks, because eventually you will get your fill and send it back.

Redbox It

Good for one viewing because let's be honest. It's only a buck.

TiVo It

Dave's DVD Reviews: Nov. 27 & 30

You don't want to spend any extra money. There's no rush to see this movie. Wait until it hits the television circuit, TiVo it and watch at your convenience.

Here are this week's DVD Releases.

But when K's life and the fate of the planet are put at stake, Agent J will have to travel back in time to put things right. J discovers that there are secrets to the universe that K never told him -- secrets that will reveal themselves as he teams up with the young Agent K (Josh Brolin) to save his partner, the agency, and the future of humankind. -- (C) Sony

Only misunderstood local boy Norman (Kodi Smit-McPhee), who is able to speak with the dead.
