(NBC News) -- There could be a bargain just around the corner and you wouldn't even know it. Can you really keep track of every coupon and flyer?

Bob Hansen has a tip that helps you find the bargains, starting in your own neighborhood.

It can take a lot of time for Shelley Stapley to look through every supermarket ad and flyer. But she says the savings are worth it.

Shelley Stapley, Bargain Shopper: "I save a ton of money. I've got four kids and it costs money to feed your family."

But finding those bargains page by page isn't easy.

Shelley Stapley, Bargain Shopper: "You have to read the ads, go page by page, look through it."

Andrew Moss, Cairo.com: "It's as simple as putting in your zip code and typing in what you're looking for."

Andrew Moss says he has the answer for Shelley and other bargain shoppers. A San Francisco based website named cairo.com. A site that lets you shop at your favorite grocers with the click of a mouse.

Andrew Moss / Cairo.com: "So no more looking through the circulars every Sunday to find the deals, we have all those deals in one place, so you can literally search for anything from milk to plasma tv's."

Shelley Stapley / Bargain Shopper "I'm impressed."

I asked Shelley to try out the website, looking for bargains. She typed in a number of products and liked what she found.

Shelley Stapley / Bargain Shopper: "If you want milk. If you want whipping cream, if you want cool whip, if you want cereal bars, if you want watermelon. Watermelon is on sale this week, it'll tell you where it's on sale."

I tried it as well, looking for deals in 12 different categories, from bananas To baby food, soup to salsa, chips to cookies. Out of a dozen items that are On sale at each of the stores that match the term you put in.

Bob Hansen NBC News: "Now while I'm most impresses with the ability to search for supermarket bargains, the website will also search drugstores like Longs, department stores like Sears, and electronic stores like Best Buy."

Andrew Moss / Cairo.com: "We have Vons, Ralphs, Longs Drugs, Walgreens, CVS, Best Buy, Circuit City, The Good Guys, Comp USA, JC Penney, Sears, Home Depot, and Lowes."

In each case you can list your zip code and find the deals that are closest to your home or work.

Shelley Stapley / Bargain Shopper: "If you care about what you would pay for food, then you would want to look at Cairo."
